Across my career, I have had the privilege of mentoring, teaching, and sponsoring people across every spectrum of background, gender, culture, and stage of life. Growth looks different for everyone, but the common thread is that we all need support, practice, and a sense of belonging to thrive. And as a woman, I of course can deeply empathize with other women who are facing the unique challenges of navigating workspaces shaped by both spoken and unspoken expectations. In many ways, building a career as a woman has become more complex, not easier, and that reality has only strengthened my commitment to creating spaces where women can grow authentically and sustainably.
I firmly believe that apprenticeship and the ability to practice are essential to professional development. While challenging, growth should stretch you in the spirit of your full potential and optimism, uplifting you with a sense of all the possibilities you can achieve now and in the future. This approach has been instrumental in my own journey and has proven invaluable to the women I’ve supported.
Too often, I’ve seen women leave training programs either energized to apply what they’ve learned but lacking the on-the-job opportunities to do so, or facing an existential crisis because they are striving for a two-dimensional ideal instead of embracing their own authentic leadership style. That belief drives my work at Executive Ally, where my mission is to provide women at every stage of their careers with realistic, hands-on learning opportunities. My goal is to empower professional women to build the skills, confidence, and networks needed to thrive in leadership roles while staying true to themselves. Through Executive Ally, I aim to redefine professional growth and create meaningful opportunities for women to lead authentically and make a lasting impact.
In addition to founding Executive Ally, I serve as a partner at an international consulting firm where I advise leaders across federal, state, local, and education sectors. My work has spanned strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce development, including training programs and leadership engagements overseas. These experiences have reinforced a core belief that growth is not limited by industry, title, or background—the skills we build and the challenges we face connect us across every kind of professional role.
I hold an MBA from Virginia Tech, a master’s in Telecommunications from George Mason University, and a bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Georgia. While my consulting work has given me structure and discipline, I also think non-linearly—living with ADHD has taught me the value of spaces where creativity and structure work side by side. That combination is part of what grounds Executive Ally: an environment where professionals from any background can bring their full selves to the table, practice new skills, and discover growth that feels both practical and human.Across my career, I have navigated and continue to navigate complex leadership challenges while learning from and mentoring other women working alongside me. These experiences—balancing my own growing opportunities and helping others succeed—sparked my passion to create Executive Ally.
